Yes, I skip dialog - especially if I am in a hurry and might run the of risk dying (if I don't want to).
I might not skip if I want to check out some new spiffy armor.

I'm too impatient. Cut scenes aren't good enough for me to stop and watch. Same goes for quest dialogue.

I read it all once, after that I no longer need to read.

So I never skip the first time I make a mission or quest, or the first time I learn a skills or every time a skill is updated.

But never twice. Just once is enough.

the first time i went through the game i skipped it because i was in a hurry to play the game, but the next couple of times i watched it when i went through, which i found more enjoyable.

If I H/H a mission there's a good chance I'll skip the cutscene unless it's something special.

If I'm in a pug, I generally won't skip unless everyone else has already skipped, as you never know if the other last person feels pressured into skipping something they may not have seen, just because everyone else did.

If I'm in a guild/alliance party, it just depends how annoying I want to be

I watched cutscenes first time playing through the game... well, in Prophecies and Factions at least. In Nightfail, I started skipping shortly after getting to Koruna and in EotN skipped everything other than the charr storyline and/or everything involving Vekk.

I read and watch things when I play something for the first time, and sometimes when it has been a really long time.

I watch/read things at least once. I've gone through so many times now, I don't really need to do it again. If it's by some chance something I don't remember seeing before, I'll read through it.

I never read anything: I just pick quest/skip animation and c+space my way to the green marker.
The lore after Prophecies kinda got boring.

I watch the dialogs and read them the first time that I go though something but after beating the game several times, I skip the stuff that ive seen several times.

I generally watch them first time round (cutscenes)

Then if I'm in a group and it turns out there's someone who blatantly wants to watch (if it's me and someone else) I won't skip, so that they don't feel so guilty about holding up, or feel pressured to skip. Everyone should get a chance to watch. (Basically, I'm always last to skip, but not coz I love watching)

I generally listen to dialogue on the same principles. First time round i pay close attention so I don't miss something. With the next character that comes along I don't really mind that much, unless I've forgotten an important detail. But usually I L-button anything I need to know. I get quite complacent about it.

When I play with my brother I watch everything, coz he's very much into total immersion gaming, and I feel bad sniping as he has learning difficulties.

In every game the first time I play I watch every cut scene and read every dialog.
After that I tend to skip them - because its get boring especially if I play same mission or quest for 10th time.
It is very nice to have option to skip so you don't have to watch same thing over and over again.

There's dialog in GW?!

Seriously though, I do always watch cutscenes and read dialogs the first time they appear.

After that, I might watch cutscenes again if I find them entertaining - for example, I never tire of seeing a particular cutscene in Prophecies, where you (party leader) get to a kill certain Leeroy - sweet revenge for all those times he made you fail your missions back in the early days of GW. Also, some voice-acting in GW is so bad its actually entertaining to listen to it.

There are also some cutscenes I will switch to a pumpkin head, candy weapons etc just before they start, then watch them through so that I can make screenshots of myself looking silly in the middle of it.

Otherwise I will skip...

Been there. Done that. Won't do it again. I skip cutscenes every chance I get now. It's nothing more then a nuisance and just slows down my gaming. Stupid things just get in the way of what I set out to do.

dont skip it the first time, from then on yes because its a waste of precious pre-work game time. unless its the final scene from frost gate where rurik finally gets what he deserves... i ALWAYS watch that one.

I don't skip:
- If I haven't seen it
- I there was someone in a group bitching all then time how we should all skip it.

I always watch cutscenes on the first playthrough. However, after...

In Prophecies and Eye of the North, I like to watch the cutscenes.
In Nightfall, it really depends on my mood, but I'll usually watch.
In Factions, the voice acting makes me cringe. I think my ears bled once.
